Pin dimensions and board fit
The 61137-1 carries a 0.093" diameter above the flange, with an overall length of 0.405" — the pin extends 0.245" above the flange, which sets the mating depth for a receptacle or wire wrap. Clinch fit is designed for a board thickness of 0.062" and a mounting hole diameter between 0.067" and 0.073". The flanged base seats against the board surface, and the clinch ring on the opposite side swages into the hole for mechanical retention — no solder needed.
Termination and plating
Termination is clinch fit — a press-in operation that cold-forms the pin into the plated through-hole.
