The 61971-1 accepts 18-22 AWG wire with an insulation diameter of 0.065" to 0.100" (1.65mm to 2.54mm); the 60529-1 steps up to 16-20 AWG with a larger insulation range.
Both are 0.110" tab width female receptacles, but the 61971-1 uses a 0.032" tab thickness versus 0.025" on the 61158-1. The thicker tab may not seat fully in a mating blade designed for the thinner 61158-1; verify the mating tab thickness before substitution.
