Mating & Termination
The dielectric is polyphenylene oxide (PPO), which holds the 50 Ohm impedance through the launch. Mates with any standard BNC plug with a bayonet lock; no keying or polarisation beyond the BNC bayonet slot, so the signal path is impedance-matched only when the cable side is also 50 Ohm.
