Right-Angle Shielded RJ45 with Integrated Link Status
It integrates a green/yellow dual-color LED for link and activity indication directly into the housing, saving a separate indicator PCB and reducing assembly cost.
The board guide aligns the part during assembly. The tab direction is up and down.
Cat5 Rating and Signal Integrity
The Cat5 rating defines the frequency and crosstalk envelope: the jack is qualified for 100 MHz operation with the pair-to-pair near-end crosstalk and return loss margins specified in TIA/EIA-568-B.2. This makes it a direct fit for 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T Ethernet links in structured cabling, industrial Ethernet, and equipment-side RJ45 ports. The shielded construction with EMI finger means the jack is intended for environments where radiated emissions or susceptibility matter — the shield must be tied to chassis ground through the PCB ground plane for the Cat5 performance to hold across the mated link.
