Terminal Identity and Wire Range
The TE Connectivity 63701-1 is a crimp-style weld tab terminal designed for 16-20 AWG wire. The weld tab end is intended for direct welded connection to a bus bar or similar conductor — not a standard ring or spade tongue, so the mating interface is a weld joint, not a screw or stud. The crimp termination uses standard open-barrel tooling for the 16-20 AWG range.
