Clinch Fit Termination — No Solder Required
Termination is clinch fit — the pin presses into the plated through-hole and the flange deforms to lock it in place. No solder, no heat, just a press tool. That makes it field-serviceable if you have the right tooling on site. The pin is non-insulated, so the board hole and surrounding clearance must be considered for creepage and clearance distances — no plastic shroud to prevent accidental contact.
