0.100" Pitch IDC Plug for 3-Position Harnesses
The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch matches the standard MTA-100 header footprint — no board layout guesswork. The latch holder locks the plug to the mating header, holding the connection against vibration inside an enclosure. Red housing visually codes this as the 3-position variant, which helps avoid assembly errors on multi-harness lines.
IDC Termination — One Press, No Stripping
Insulation displacement termination (IDC) for 22 AWG wire — the fork contacts pierce the insulation in a single press stroke. No wire stripping, no crimp tool setup. The closed end blocks insertion from the wrong side, enforcing correct orientation in the fixture. Accepts discrete wire or ribbon cable, so the same plug works for point-to-point wiring or a flat-cable bus.
Contact Finish and Retention
The latch holder provides positive retention without requiring a secondary lock. Free-hanging (in-line) or right-angle cable exit gives routing flexibility when the harness turns at the board edge.
No obsolescence notice or last-time-buy on record.
