Product details

Multimate III+ Stamped Pin, 20-24 AWG

This is the male half of the contact pair, intended for use in the matching Multimate III+ receptacle housings.

This contact accepts 20-24 AWG stranded wire. The crimp barrel is stamped and formed to grip both the conductor and insulation, with the standard open-barrel design that lets you inspect the crimp after the die closes. For tooling, the standard Multimate III+ crimp die sets work — the same tooling that handles the socket version of this contact. The gold plating on the contact body extends into the crimp area, so the wire-to-contact interface stays corrosion-resistant even before the housing seals it.
