Stamped pin contact for Multimate III+ housings
This contact accepts 20-24 AWG stranded wire — the range that covers most signal and low-power circuits in a harness. The stamped construction keeps the per-unit cost lower than a machined contact, while the gold plating maintains contact resistance stability over hundreds of mating cycles. The crimp termination requires the matching TE application tooling for the Multimate III+ series; the contact is then inserted into the appropriate housing cavity.
