This is the socket half of the Multimate III+ system, used in rectangular and circular connector housings across industrial control, automotive, and telecom equipment.
The 20-24 AWG range covers the most common signal and low-power circuit wire sizes in a harness build. The crimp termination requires the matching TE application tooling for the Multimate III+ contact family — a standard open-barrel crimp that gives a gas-tight connection when the wire strip length and crimp height are set per the drawing.
