The TE 66105-4 is a stamped socket in the Multimate III+ series, designed as a crimp-terminated contact for 20-24 AWG wire.
This socket accepts 20-24 AWG stranded wire with a standard crimp tool. The brass base material and gold flash keep contact resistance stable across that wire range; you don't need to derate for the smaller strand bundle. Crimp the barrel, not the wire insulation — the stamped body gives a clear bell-mouth indicator when the crimp height is right.
