Rated for 24-26 AWG stranded wire, the crimp barrel accepts the conductor and insulation in one die stroke. The stamped brass body gives a consistent crimp profile across the strip, and the gold finish on the contact area keeps the interface resistance stable over temperature swings inside a cabinet. No special tooling beyond the standard Multimate crimp head.
