The TE Connectivity 66108-7 is a stamped socket contact from the Multimate III+ series, designed for crimp termination to 24-26 AWG wire. It carries a 15.0µin (0.38µm) gold finish on brass, which gives it a solid balance of corrosion resistance and cycle life for field-serviceable connections in industrial control, instrumentation, and power distribution harnesses. As a socket, it mates with the corresponding Multimate III+ pin contacts used in a wide range of TE rectangular connector housings.
Wire Gauge and Termination Fit
This contact accepts 24-26 AWG stranded wire. The crimp termination is standard for field assembly — the barrel compresses around the stripped conductor and insulation, giving a gas-tight joint that holds up to vibration.
