Crimp socket for Multimate III+ housings
It accepts 14-18 AWG wire and terminates via a standard crimp tooling profile shared across the Multimate family.
The 14-18 AWG range covers the common power and signal wire sizes for Multimate III+ applications. At the 14 AWG end the terminal carries the highest current the contact beam allows; at 18 AWG the wire fills the crimp barrel without excess void. The brass base material provides the spring properties for the socket beam, and the gold finish protects the mating surface from oxidation during the service life.
