What is the TE 66360-1?
It's the female crimp terminal that goes into the Multimate III+ housing — the part you actually crimp onto the wire before you insert it into the connector body. Rated for 14-18 AWG wire, the contact is made from brass with a gold finish plated to 30.0µin (0.76µm). That gold thickness is the key spec for field-service gear — it buys you more mating cycles before the plating wears through and the contact resistance starts climbing. For a terminal that gets unmated and remated during maintenance, that matters.
