Contact Identity and Series Fit
The stamped construction keeps the per-contact cost lower than a machined terminal while still fitting the standard Multimate III+ cavity — useful for high-volume harness builds where the mating cycle count is moderate.
Crimps onto 20-24 AWG stranded or solid wire using the standard Multimate III+ crimp tooling — the stamped barrel gives a consistent crimp profile across that range. The socket accepts the mating pin contact from any Multimate III+ header or plug housing; the gold-to-gold interface keeps contact resistance stable through the rated 20-24 AWG current levels. No secondary locking feature on the contact itself — retention relies on the housing's own latch window engaging the stamped dimple on the contact body.
