Termination and Mating Fit
Wire wrap termination suits applications where solderless, reworkable connections are preferred — typical in high-density backplane wiring where the contact post is inserted into a PCB and the wire is wrapped around the post with a tool. As a pin contact, the 66471-7 mates with a corresponding socket contact in the Multimate III+ housing.
