Crimp socket for the Multimate III+ family
It accepts 20-24 AWG wire and terminates via a standard crimp operation, making it a field-replaceable or harness-build component for rectangular connectors in this family. This places it above a flash-plated contact and into a duty class suited for equipment that sees periodic reconnection or field service.
Termination and tooling
Crimp termination requires a tool matched to the 20-24 AWG range and the contact barrel geometry — a standard open-barrel crimp die set for this wire size. The Tape & Reel packaging (also available as Cut Tape) feeds into automated crimping machines or hand-tool applications.
