Stamped Socket for Multimate III+ — 30.0µin Gold, 20-24 AWG
It accepts 20-24 AWG wire and terminates via a standard crimp operation. Supplied in bulk packaging for high-volume harness assembly.
Gold Plating Grade Drives the Duty Cycle
For a harness that sees field maintenance or periodic reconnection, this plating grade extends the usable life of the contact well beyond what a tin or thin-gold alternative would deliver. The gold also prevents oxide formation on the mating interface, keeping contact resistance stable over the service life.
The 20-24 AWG wire range covers the typical signal and low-power circuit sizes used in Multimate III+ connector systems. The stamped contact is designed for a controlled-cycle crimp — the tooling indent deforms the contact barrel around the stripped conductor and insulation, producing a gas-tight joint. For production or repair, the recommended crimp tool is specific to the Multimate III+ contact family; the wire strip length and crimp height must match the terminal drawing to achieve rated pull-out force.
