Stamped Pin for Multimate III+ Housings
It mates with the standard Multimate III+ receptacle housings and cavity inserts, so it fits into the same panel-mount or free-hanging connectors that use this series.
Crimp and Wire Range
The 20-24 AWG range covers the most common stranded wire sizes for internal harnesses and control cabling. The stamped construction keeps the per-contact cost lower than a machined pin, but the crimp quality still decides the connection reliability — a loose crimp on 24 AWG can pull out under vibration.
TE lists the 66566-1 as Active, so it is still in regular production with no end-of-life notice.
