Wiring a 2-Position Power Takeoff
The TE Connectivity 6DBL-02-006 is a 2-circuit barrier block from the #6 Buchanan series, designed for terminating power and control wiring in industrial panels. It accepts 12-22 AWG wire and is rated 25A at 300V — the current capacity puts it in the power distribution class, not signal-level duty. The 0.375" (9.53mm) pitch gives generous spacing between terminals, which supports the 300V rating and makes stripping and landing heavier wire straightforward.
Terminal and Barrier Construction
The 3 Wall (Tri) barrier between circuits physically isolates adjacent terminals, reducing the chance of a stray strand bridging across. Continuous operating temperature is 105°C, so it can sit in a warm cabinet or near a heat sink without derating the insulation.
