Two-Circuit Power Distribution Point at 25A
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 6PCR-02-006 is a 2-circuit barrier strip from the #6 series, rated 25A per circuit at 300V — enough to terminate a branch circuit or a small motor feed without stepping up to a larger block. The 0.375" (9.53mm) pitch gives the creepage distance the 300V rating needs while keeping the board footprint compact enough for a DIN-rail-adjacent layout. Wire termination is via screws with captive plates — the plate stays captured in the screw threads when loosened, so no dropped hardware inside a live panel. Accepts 12-22 AWG stranded or solid, terminated to a PC pin on the bottom side for through-hole soldering into the PCB.
Wiring and Panel Fit
The 3-wall (tri) barrier design isolates each circuit from its neighbour — a short or arc across one terminal will not track across the housing to the adjacent circuit. Terminal screws are steel with zinc clear chromate finish, corrosion-resistant for the expected service life in a dry cabinet. Operating temperature range tops out at 105°C, which tracks the rating of typical PVC or XLPE building wire at full load. The two wire entries match the two circuits — one wire per position, no daisy-chaining through the block.
