The TE Connectivity Buchanan 6PCR-05-006 is a 5-circuit barrier strip from the #6 series, designed for through-hole board mounting with PC pin termination. The 0.375" (9.53mm) pitch gives generous creepage for the 300V rating and leaves room to land 12-22 AWG wire without crowding adjacent terminals. Each circuit carries 25A, so this block handles power distribution — motor feeds, power supply outputs, heater loads — not signal-level work. The three-wall barrier design isolates each terminal on three sides, reducing the chance of an accidental short across adjacent circuits when probing or landing wire. The screws use a captive plate — the pressure plate stays captured under the screw head, so there's no loose washer to drop into a live panel. Terminal screw finish is zinc, clear chromate over steel, which resists corrosion in a cabinet environment. What the 25A and 300V Ratings Mean for Your Panel
The 25A per-circuit rating is the block's headline spec — it's the current each terminal can carry continuously at the rated temperature rise. That's enough for a 3 HP motor at 240V single-phase, or a 30A power supply fed through a pair of circuits. The 300V rating covers 240VAC line-to-neutral and most DC bus voltages up to 300V. If you're switching 480V, this isn't the block — the 300V ceiling is hard. The 12-22 AWG wire range means you can land a 12 AWG feed and daisy-chain out with 18 AWG control wiring on the same block. The screw with captive plate clamps down on the conductor without needing a separate pressure pad — strip, insert, tighten, done.
