6-Circuit Barrier Block, 0.375" Pitch, 25A Rating
The 6PCR-06-006 is a 6-circuit barrier strip from the Buchanan #6 series, built for power distribution where you need a field-serviceable screw termination that doesn't quit. The 0.375" (9.53mm) pitch gives each circuit enough room for the 25A current rating without forcing adjacent wires to crowd — you can land a full 12 AWG conductor on the captive plate and still have clearance for the next terminal. The three-wall barrier design keeps wire strands from bridging between circuits, which is the kind of thing you appreciate when you're re-terminating a live panel. Through-hole PC pin termination means it solders into the board like a header, but the screw-clamp top side lets you land and re-land field wiring without desoldering. Operating temperature tops out at 105°C, which covers most industrial cabinet environments.
Accepts 12-22 AWG stranded or solid wire. The screws with captive plate mean the pressure plate stays captured in the screw — you don't lose it when you back the screw out to land a new wire. Terminal screw is steel with zinc clear chromate finish; the plate bears down evenly so the conductor doesn't cold-flow out from under the screw over thermal cycles.
Voltage and Current Headroom
Rated 25A at 300V. The 25A per circuit is the limiting factor for power distribution — each terminal can carry the full current of a lighting circuit or a small motor branch. The 300V voltage rating suits most industrial control panels and HVAC equipment. Derate the current if the ambient temperature inside the enclosure pushes above 105°C.
