Three-Circuit Barrier Block for Panel Wiring
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 6PCV-03-006 is a 3-circuit barrier strip from the #6 series, built for terminating 12-22 AWG wire in a control cabinet or power distribution panel. The 0.375" (9.53 mm) pitch gives enough spacing between terminals to land ring or fork lugs without shorting, while the 3-wall (tri) barrier design keeps adjacent conductors separated even when the screw heads are fully tightened. Rated 25 A at 300 V, this block handles branch circuits, motor starters, and heater loads where a single-row terminal block is the standard choice.
Wire Sizing and Termination
The top termination uses steel screws with zinc clear chromate finish — corrosion-resistant enough for the inside of an industrial enclosure. Each of the 3 wire entries accepts 12-22 AWG stranded or solid copper, clamped under the screw head. For a field-service swap, the screw terminals release the wire without cutting the conductor — the old block lifts off the board and the replacement solders into the same holes.
