The TE Connectivity 6PCV-05-008 is a 5-circuit barrier strip from the #6 Buchanan series, a long-running line of terminal blocks for panel and chassis wiring. The 0.375" (9.53 mm) pitch provides generous creepage for the voltage rating without crowding the board layout. This is a single-row, through-hole or panel-mount block with a flange for screw-down mounting.
The 12-22 AWG wire range covers common power and control wiring. The operating temperature ceiling is 105°C.
Top termination uses screws with captive plates — the plate stays captured in the screw thread, so it does not drop out when the screw is fully backed off, which saves time during field wiring. The 3-wall (tri) barrier design physically isolates each circuit from its neighbour, reducing the chance of accidental shorting from a stray wire strand.
