10-Circuit Barrier Block for Power Distribution
The Buchanan 6WWV-10-008 is a 10-circuit barrier strip from the #6 series, designed for through-hole mounting with wire wrap bottom termination. The 0.375" (9.53 mm) pitch gives the physical clearance needed for the 25 A per-circuit rating — this is a power-class block, not a signal strip. The three-wall (tri) barrier design isolates adjacent terminals, reducing the risk of accidental bridging between circuits during field wiring.
Top termination uses screws with captive plates — the plate stays captured in the screw, so there is no loose washer to drop into the cabinet. Accepts 12-22 AWG wire, covering the common range for power feeds (12 AWG) through control wiring (22 AWG). The bottom termination is wire wrap, intended for permanent solderless connections to a PCB or terminal post. Terminal screws are steel with zinc, clear chromate finish; the screw material is steel, which provides the thread strength for repeated tightening in the field.
