Mating Half and Field Fit
The flange features female screwlocks on the mating side, accepting 4-40 male jackscrews from the mating receptacle to secure the pair against vibration. For field replacement, this is a straight swap into any harness or PCB that already uses a standard DB9 male connector with 4-40 threaded inserts. The gray PBT/polyester housing is keyed by the D-shape shell — no risk of mis-mating with non-D-Sub connectors.
