Right-angle through-hole mounting places the plug parallel to the board surface, keeping the cable exit low-profile for enclosures with tight z-height. The zinc body with tin finish provides a durable ground path and resists corrosion in under-hood or exterior-mounted modules. The housing colour is blue water-coded, which means it is keyed for a specific Fakra function (typically camera or sensor) and will not mate with other colour-coded Fakra receptacles.
