37-Position D-Sub Plug Housing — What You're Getting
The TE Connectivity AMPLIMITE HDP-20 745135-4 is a 37-position D-Sub plug housing for male crimp contacts, laid out in two rows. It's the shell and dielectric assembly only — the crimp contacts are ordered separately. The shell size is 4 (DC, C), which is the standard layout for a 37-position D-Sub.
Grounding Indents and Shell Finish
The steel shell carries a tin plating at 200µin (5.08µm) thickness — heavy enough for repeated mating in an industrial harness without the plating wearing through. That matters if you're running this in a noisy electrical cabinet or near VFD cabling.
Flange and Mounting Detail
The flange is on the cable side and uses UNC 4-40 threaded inserts — the standard for D-Sub locking. You'll need a mating receptacle with the same 4-40 female thread or slide-lock hardware to secure the pair. The housing is black, moulded in glass-filled polyamide (nylon).
