AMP-Latch DIP Header for Ribbon Cable Interconnects
The black housing carries all 10 positions loaded, with a feed-through feature that allows daisy-chaining multiple headers along a single ribbon cable run.
This IDC header accepts 26-28 AWG stranded wire or 26-30 AWG solid conductor — the two common gauges for 0.050" pitch ribbon cable. The IDC slot geometry is tuned for these diameters; using wire outside the range risks an unreliable gas-tight joint or a split housing.
