Panel-Mount D-Sub for Industrial Signal Wiring
It mounts vertically through a PCB or panel cutout, with unthreaded housing/shell flanges that accept standard D-Sub hardware for cable retention.
Rated 6A per contact at 125V, the current limit here is set by the pin density at the board edge, not the contact itself. In a 9-position shell, the contact-to-contact spacing is tight enough that temperature rise across the row governs the derating curve. For signal loads — RS-232, RS-485, or low-power I/O — 6A is generous headroom. If you are pushing near the limit in a warm cabinet, derate per the AMPLIMITE HD-20 curve in the product drawing.
Mating and Shell Fit
The steel shell with tin plating provides EMI shielding continuity when the mating plug's grounding indents contact the receptacle face. The unthreaded flanges accept a 4-40 screw-lock or slide-lock hardware kit for vibration-resistant panel mounting.
