The TE Connectivity 747784-3 is a jackscrew (thumb screw) accessory for the AMPLIMITE series of D-Subminiature connectors. The 4-40 thread is the standard UNC size for standard-density D-Sub shells, and the 0.405" (10.29 mm) length below the head gives enough reach to pass through the mating connector's threaded insert and the panel thickness, with the threaded portion below the head measuring 0.210" (5.33 mm).
