The TE Connectivity CHAMP.050 I 787317-4 is a 40-position SCA-2 receptacle with outer shroud contacts, arranged in two rows for a through-hole solder mount. The 0.050-inch pitch packs enough I/O for a parallel SCSI or high-density signal interface without consuming excessive board edge. Board guide and board lock features align the connector during solder and hold it against vibration after reflow.
This is a receptacle — it mates with the SCA-2 plug half from the same CHAMP.050 I series. Termination is solder through-hole, so the board gets a mechanical anchor beyond the pin-in-paste joint.
