4-position plug for panel wiring
The 796635-4: This is a 4-position plug from the TE Buchanan series, terminated with a screw rising cage clamp. The plug is free-hanging, so it connects to a mating header on a panel or PCB without needing a board mount.
Screw clamp termination and wire range
Wire entry is straight (180°), which simplifies routing in a panel or junction box where the cable comes in line with the connector axis.
Retention latches and vibration resistance
Retention latches on the non-wire side lock the plug into the mating header. In a panel with moderate vibration — say, a motor control cabinet — those latches keep the connection from backing out.
