6-Position 5.08mm Screw-Clamp Plug for Panel Wiring
The 796635-6 is a 6-position, single-level plug from TE's Buchanan series, designed for free-hanging (in-line) termination on 0.200" (5.08mm) pitch terminal blocks. It uses a screw - rising cage clamp to secure 12-30 AWG wire, with a torque spec of 0.79 Nm (7.0 Lb-In).
The rising cage clamp accepts solid or stranded wire from 12 AWG to 30 AWG (0.05-3mm²) with a strip length of 6-7.5mm. The M3 screw is torqued to 0.79 Nm (7.0 Lb-In) — over-torquing can strip the polyamide housing. The housing is polyamide (PA66) rated UL94 V-0.
