The 796640-2 is a 2-position plug from the TE Buchanan series, using a 5.00 mm pitch and rated 15 A at 300 V. It accepts 12-30 AWG wire via a rising cage clamp screw termination. Contact mating finish is tin.
Side stacking and retention latches for multi-position builds
This plug includes retention latches on the non-wire side and supports side stacking, allowing multiple 2-position plugs to be ganged into a wider assembly without a custom header. The 180° wire entry and M3 screw with 0.79 Nm torque specification simplify field wiring. Strip length is 6-7.5 mm.
