The 796640-3 is a 3-position plug from the TE Buchanan series, using a rising cage clamp termination that accepts 12-30 AWG wire with a strip length of 6-7.5 mm.
Retention latches on the non-wire side lock the plug into the mating header, preventing back-out under vibration. Side-stacking tabs allow multiple plugs to be ganged side-by-side on the same header, maintaining the 5.00 mm pitch between adjacent positions.
