Wire range covers 12-30 AWG (0.05-3 mm²), which spans most control-circuit and light-power wiring. The 180° wire entry — straight in-line with the screw axis — keeps the wire path simple and the bend radius generous inside the enclosure.
This plug mates with a fixed header or receptacle of the same series and pitch — look for the matching 5.00 mm Buchanan header with 8 positions. The retention latches on the non-wire side lock into the header's mating features; the side-stacking tabs let you align multiple plugs on the same rail without gaps.
