Buchanan 796690-4 — 4-Position PCB Terminal Block at 5 mm Pitch
It terminates solid or stranded wire from 12 AWG down to 30 AWG using a screw-actuated rising cage clamp — the clamp pulls the wire up against a tin-plated brass contact bar, not the screw tip, so the conductor isn't damaged by the screw point. Rated 17.5 A at 300 V, it handles the typical control-circuit loads in industrial panels, HVAC controllers, and building automation gear. The housing is green polyamide (PA66/Nylon 6/6), and the side interlocking feature lets you snap multiple blocks together without a separate jumper bar for multi-circuit builds.
35° Wire Entry and Board Layout
The M3 screw is brass with nickel plating, and the specified torque is 0.79 Nm (7.0 Lb-In) — exceeding that can strip the threads in the PA66 housing. The through-hole mounting pins are tin-plated brass, and the 5.00 mm pitch leaves enough room between adjacent terminals for a standard screwdriver tip without shorting to the next terminal.
