8-Position PCB Terminal Block with 5.00 mm Pitch
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 796690-8 is an 8-position, single-level PCB terminal block on a 0.197" (5.00 mm) pitch. It uses a rising cage clamp termination — the screw (M3) drives a clamp that pulls the wire against a tin-plated brass current bar, giving a gas-tight connection across 12-30 AWG wire. The green polyamide 6/6 housing carries a 17.5 A current rating at 300 V, making it a fit for power distribution, motor controls, and industrial I/O blocks where each circuit carries real load, not just signal.
35° Wire Entry and Side Interlocking
The wire termination is oriented at a 35° (145°) angle relative to the PCB. This angled entry helps route wires in tight enclosures.
