6-Position 5mm Pitch Plug for Control Wiring
The TE Connectivity Buchanan 796858-6 is a 6-position plug with female sockets, designed for 5.00 mm pitch terminal block headers. It is rated 15 A at 300 V UL, with a screw - rising cage clamp termination that accepts 12-30 AWG (0.05-3 mm²) wire. The free-hanging (in-line) mounting and 180° wire entry make it a direct fit for panel wiring where the plug floats on the cable bundle rather than being panel-mounted.
The mating flange provides alignment and retention under vibration. The 0.610" (15.49 mm) insulation height and single-level design keep the profile low for tight enclosures.
