What this 3-position shrouded header does
The 3-position, single-level layout and shrouded (4-side) shroud protect the male pins from accidental shorting and guide the mating plug into alignment.
Mating plug and fit notes
This header mates with any Buchanan or compatible 5.08mm pitch terminal block plug that has a 3-position layout. The mating flange feature on the header provides a locking point for the plug's screw flange, securing the connection against vibration. The vertical orientation and through-hole solder termination require a PCB with drilled holes on a 5.08mm grid. The contact tail length of 0.138" (3.50mm) is typical for standard PCB thicknesses.
