3-Circuit Barrier Block, 0.438" Pitch, 30 A
The 8PCV-03-006: The 0.438" (11.12 mm) pitch spaces the circuits wide enough to handle the 600 V rating between adjacent terminals without tracking, while the 3-wall (tri) barrier isolates each wire entry to prevent conductor creep or shorting during termination. Rated 30 A per circuit, this strip handles motor-drive branch circuits, power-supply outputs, and industrial control panel wiring where a single-row, moderate-density power distribution point is needed on a PCB.
The 8PCV-03-006 accepts 10-18 AWG stranded or solid wire under the captive-plate screw terminals. The zinc-plated steel screws bear directly on the plate, which clamps the conductor without damaging fine strands — no wire ferrule required, though one can be used for stranded wire in high-vibration runs. The tri-barrier walls between each circuit give a physical stop that keeps stripped wire from bridging to the adjacent terminal.
Environmental and Regulatory Fit
The strip is ROHS3 Compliant.
The 8PCV-03-006 is the 3-circuit member of the #8 series. The same footprint, pitch, current rating, and termination style are shared across the 2-circuit 8PCV-02-006 and the 4-circuit 8PCV-04-006. The only variable is the number of wire entries and PC pins — 2, 3, or 4 — so a BOM can standardise on one series and vary the position count per PCB location without requalifying the footprint or the wire range.
