Panel Wiring Terminal Selection
The Buchanan JC6-P108-03 is a 3-circuit barrier strip from the JC6 series, designed for through-hole mounting on a PCB or panel. The 0.375" (9.53 mm) pitch gives generous spacing between terminals, which keeps the 300 V rating practical for industrial control wiring without worrying about creepage. The dual-wall barrier physically separates each circuit, so a stray screwdriver or a loose strand won't bridge adjacent terminals during termination. Wire range is 12-22 AWG, which covers most panel and machine wiring, and the 20 A per-circuit rating is enough for power distribution inside an enclosure. Operating temperature tops out at 105°C, which is typical for a thermoplastic barrier block — derate the 20 A if the ambient inside the cabinet runs above that.
