Four-Circuit Barrier Block for Panel Wiring
The TE Connectivity Buchanan JC6-Q307-04 is a 4-circuit barrier terminal block from the JC6 series, designed for through-panel power distribution and control wiring. The 0.375" (9.53mm) pitch spaces the terminals wide enough for 12 AWG wire with a screw clamp on top and a 0.250" quick-connect tab on the bottom — the dual termination lets you land a permanent feed on the screw side while the QC tab serves a test point or a secondary tap. Rated 20A at 300V, the block handles motor starter circuits, HVAC control panels, and appliance power entry where a fused or switched line needs a serviceable junction.
The block mounts to a chassis or panel via the integral flange — two screw holes at the ends secure it against the pull of the 12-22 AWG wires terminated under the screws. The dual-wall (2 wall) barrier design separates adjacent terminals with a full-height insulator wall, reducing the chance of a stray strand bridging circuits during termination.
The 300V voltage rating is line-to-line, typical for 120/240VAC branch circuits in industrial control panels. The black housing is the standard colour for the JC6 series, and the RoHS compliance covers the current regulatory requirements for European and North American markets.
