The Buchanan NC6-P107-02 is a 2-circuit barrier terminal strip from the NC6 series, on a 0.375" (9.53mm) pitch. It's a through-hole mounted block with screw terminations on top and PC pin tails on the bottom — the classic layout for a permanent board-to-wire junction inside a control panel or power distribution enclosure.
Wire range and current capacity — what the 20A rating means on the panel
This strip accepts 12-22 AWG wire, which covers the common panel power and control wiring sizes. The 20A per-circuit rating is the thermal limit through the screw clamp and the PC pin — not a derated number, but the maximum at the rated 300V. In practice, if you're running near 20A in a warm cabinet, the 105°C operating ceiling gives headroom before the nylon housing softens.
Mounting and termination — what you're working with on site
The dual-wall barrier design separates the two wire entries physically, reducing the chance of a short between terminals from a stray strand. The PC pin tails go into plated through-holes on the board; no press-fit or SMT reflow here, just a straightforward solder joint.
