M8 Receptacle for Sealed Industrial Connections
This A-coded, metal-shell receptacle mates with the standard M8 male cordset, and the threaded coupling ensures the pair stays mated under vibration per the IP67 seal — dust-tight and protected against temporary water immersion when fully mated.
Sealing and Environmental Fit
The IP67 rating is the headline spec for this connector — it means the mated pair seals against dust ingress and can survive submersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. The threaded fastening type and bulkhead mounting feature let you panel-mount the receptacle and torque the mating plug's coupling ring to maintain that seal.
Contact Plating and Signal Reliability
At 3A per contact and 60V, this is a signal/power connector for sensors, actuators, and fieldbus nodes, not a main power feed.
Panel mount with a through-hole solder termination — the receptacle body passes through the panel cutout and the bulkhead flange seats against the panel face. The three solder tails go into the PCB and are wave-soldered. The nickel-plated copper alloy shell gives EMI shielding continuity to the panel ground when the mating plug's shell contacts it. For a build-to-print harness assembly, you need the matching M8 male cordset with the same A-coding and the correct number of contacts — the keying pin position is non-negotiable, and an A-coded plug will not mate with a B-coded receptacle.
