IP67 and the Real-World Fit
The threaded fastening and nickel-plated copper alloy shell hold the seal when mated to the matching M8 cordset; the O-ring seats at the panel face, not on the thread itself. For a panel builder, that translates to a reliable seal in high-humidity or wet environments without relying on potting or secondary boots.
This is a bulkhead-mount receptacle — the shell passes through the panel and is secured from the rear, leaving the threaded mating face on the outside. Termination is solder-cup, which gives a field-reliable connection for 3-position sensor cables. The A-coded orientation means it mates only with an A-coded plug, preventing cross-mating with B- or D-coded M8 connectors on the same panel.
