Mating and Keying — B-Coding Prevents Mis-Mate
This M12-5 female plug mates with any B-coded M12 male connector of the same shell size (M12-5). The B-coding keying pin orientation ensures it cannot mate with A-coded, D-coded, or other keyed M12 connectors, eliminating cross-wiring in multi-connector panels. Threaded fastening secures the pair against vibration. The IP67 rating holds when fully mated with the matching cordset.
